The idea of Food at Twelve is to create a food hub in Birmingham, encouraging everyone to eat well whilst enjoying good food. We are working towards bringing together the best cooks, ingredients and eating experiences that Birmingham has to offer; encouraging people to embrace and love good food as much as we do.
The cookery school
Run by Bethan Rees, the tutors of Food at Twelve are made up of a fantastic group of cooks and chefs. We are all extremely knowledgable about cooking and the world of food and are passionate about making our classes enjoyable, fun, nuturing and delicious.
Different tutors teach different classes and we all teach what we love. For all of us, that is what is so important; food should be enjoyed and appreciated, not a hurried or skipped meal with forgotten importance. It’s a chance for families to get together at the end of the day and spend time with their children, it’s a celebration at a Sunday lunch with good friends, or the hours exploring new ingredients to create your perfect meal.
Food is for everyone and cooking a wonderful skill and pastime to share.
